For us its all about the Puddledub taste. We have learnt over the years that healthy, happy pigs that are well cared for make great tasting pork. We offer genuine provenance in our homegrown pork and dry cured bacon from breeding and rearing the pigs ourselves to cutting, curing and smoking of the products in our butchery and cooking room.

With our farm just a few miles away, Puddledub has always been well supported by our customers and friends in Kirkcaldy. Right back to the first farmers markets at the town square more than 20 years ago, more recently a success pilot pop up shop lead us to fully renovae a wonderful vitorian butchers shop back to its glory on the High St. After we couldn’t keep up with demand for our bacon and sausages we decided to renovate this historical building on the high street which hadn’t had a butchers in it for almost 30 years. We’ve filled the shop with local produce, as well as innovators and pioneers of farmers and producers across the UK. All meats from local farms and businesses, charcurterie from Edinburgh and other amazing produce to come and see. Fresh bread, free range eggs, everything you need from your high street shop. Pop in to meet our expert craft butchers.

Dobbies foodhall, Dunfermline
Before we opened the Puddledub Dunfermline butchery counter in 2012, we enjoyed a long relationship with Dobbies, supplying them with sausages and bacon. Now the butchery counter is very well established with our loyal customers looking for the finest homegrown local pork, steak pies, locally produced beef and lamb, poultry and Scottish haggis & black pudding.
